The Pauli Murray Center for History and Social Justice and Jubilee! Community of Asheville co-sponsored a series of online discussions with activists about the lessons they have learned working long-term with people who share their goals but not all of their identities.

The purpose of these events was to seed a model of dialogue rooted in honest conversation, learning to hear from another person‘s perspective, discovery of life experience and challenges. Our hope is that we can open new avenues for effective and mutually respectful activism among people in our communities while simultaneously recognizing and holding the injuries caused by white supremacy.
